The secure hosting facility for all Work
Connect sites is located in Massachusetts,
USA, and is a world Class, certified disaster-proof, Data Storage Center, complete with biometric hand scanners, video surveillance, and full-time security professionals.

System redundancy and security |

The hosting system is designed
for 24x7x365 operation. It features built-in
redundancy at every point including RAID
5 storage and multiple and redundant web,
application, database, and file servers.
The servers on which Intranets.com sites
reside are continuously monitored for attempted
network attacks on a 24 x 7 basis, using
sophisticated software tools. |

All customer data are automatically
backed up on a nightly basis, and stored
at a secure, off-site facility.
In addition weekly data backups are sent to different secure offsite location (in a separate geographically location) for added recovery security. |

Connect is owned by the customer. Only
a very limited number of selected support
personnel have access
to the sites for necessary system management,
maintenance, monitoring security, and backup
procedures.
Full-time virus scanning monitors and protects all uploaded and downloaded user data. |

A valid username and password are required
to access a Work Connect site and all
transactions are authenticated. |

Optional SSL data encryption |

Each Work Connect site has the option
to enable SSL data encryption security.
This uses the strongest
encryption products to protect
your data transmission, including 128-bit
SSL certification.
Unlike email which is NOT secure, with
SSL the lock icon in the browser indicates
that your data is fully secure while
